Things to Know
Session Fees
All of our sessions have a fee associated with them. This fee is a “creation” charge that is to be made at the time of your session. No portraits are included with this fee.
Payment Information
We ask that you leave a $125.00 security deposit to take your image collection out of the studio. This deposit will be applied toward your portrait order. We will schedule your selection appointment at the time you pick up your images. Typically this appointment is scheduled 7-10 days from the date you take them out of the studio. When you make your selections, a 75% deposit of the total balance is needed to process your order. You may still order without the minimum deposit. Your order will be placed in "hold" until this has been paid. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. You can expect your order to be ready in about 4-6 weeks from the time the order is processed.
Clothing
Selecting outfits you like and colors that you feel you look your best in are great choices. Using a variety of looks such as dressy, casual, winter, or summer adds to the diverse look in your senior session.
Selection Tips
Long sleeves and solid color outfits work best. We recommend that you avoid wearing sleeveless/very short sleeves and outfits that have busy patterns such as plaids, dots or stripes. Bring all the accessories for the complete look; tie, shoes, belt, hat. unsure of choices? Bring several outfits then you can discuss with the photographer which are the best.
Hair
Wear hair styles you normally do... it usually isn't a good idea to try a completely different cut or hairstyle just before your session.
Make Up
Just like your hair, wear your make up as you normally do. Lip gloss can enhance or cover dry lips (important on those close-ups)! A little cover stick or concealer on blemishes or on dark under eye circles can improve the look of your images. Use powder to tone down shiny areas.
Glasses
If eyeglasses are part of your look just visit your optician and ask for a loner pair of frames without the lenses. This eliminates glare, reflections and distortion cause by prescription lenses. This small step will make a huge difference in how great you look in your senior portraits as well as saving you money in artwork fees needed to correct these problems.
Miscellaneous
To show off your nails make certain your manicure is complete! This isn't a bad idea for you guys either... make sure those cuticles and nails are lookin' good! Five o'clock shadow can show up around noon sometimes, so be sure to shave close to your session time if this is an issue.
